Hand painted Batik sarong, wall hanging, wall art. Each Sarong, wall painting is created by our shop with 25 years experience creating these wearable works of art. Each piece is individually hand drawn, stretched out and the outlines are blocked from dye penetration with wax. Color is then applied and boiled to set the dye and remove the wax. The vibrant colors of each piece are on both sides the material.
This particular sarong is inspired by a rice patty photograph taken by our world famous Bali photographer Gerry Nugawela. Gerry is Australian photographer known for his Bali cultural and landscape photos.
Each of our Batik listings is a one off item for sale due to the variations of colors not any one is alike. They are one of a kind.
